Signing up is free and takes a few minutes. Once you're in, you can bid, watch items and track everything from your dashboard.
- Click Login / Register at the top of any page.
- Choose Register as a bidder.
- Enter your contact info. Keep it accurate, because we use it for alerts, invoices and pickup details.
- Add a credit or debit card.
- Agree to the Equip-Bid Terms and Conditions.
That's it. You're ready to bid.
Adding a card doesn't mean you'll be charged for signing up or bidding. Your card is only charged for invoices you owe after you win.
Equip-Bid never sees your full card number. Our payment processor, Stripe, handles it.
Invoices over $2,000 can't be paid by card. See How to pay your invoice.
Why do you need my contact info?
We use it to show auctions near you and keep you posted during every auction. Depending on your alert settings, that includes:
- Outbid alerts
- Win notifications and invoices
- Pickup details
- Account updates
Keep your info current. Bidder accounts with incorrect contact info may be turned off.
Is my info private?
Yes. We only use your info for Equip-Bid auctions, and we never sell it. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
Two sets of terms
When you sign up, you agree to the Equip-Bid Terms and Conditions. These cover your use of the site.
Each auction also has its own terms, set by the seller. They cover things like payment, pickup and shipping. You'll agree to those before you can bid on that auction.

Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password on the sign-in page, and we'll email you a reset link.
Need to update your info?
Go to Profile in your dashboard to update your name, phone number, address, card and alerts. To change your email, contact support. Your email is your login, so we update it for you.
